In the high mountains of the Nepal Himalaya, natural drama is never far away. The crisp cold air is especially transparent and the lack of pollution means eyes are deceived and distances hard to judge.
These remarkable peaks leave us awe struck by the power of plate tectonics to push the land up to dizzying heights and jagged forms.
It is hard to live and work at these high altitudes, but our efforts are rewarded with breath taking vistas and a sense of remoteness squeezed between the world’s most populous nations, China and India.
